I have always liked the Great Law of the Iroquois Confederacy: “In our every deliberation, we must consider the impact of our decisions on the next seven generations.” ... even if a certain seller of recycled paper towels has already made use of it.
Oooo. . . I like that one. Here's one that I recently read hat by James Audubon that goes hand in hand with yours: "A true conservationist is a man who knows that the world is not given by his fathers but borrowed from his children."
I am a storyteller. I draw comics featuring robots, frogs, turtles, guinea pigs, and giant monsters. I am a seasonal Park Ranger for the National Park Service (previously at Crater Lake, now at Carlsbad Caverns.) At work, I tell Native American legends and stories from science and history. I am a graduate of The Center for Cartoon Studies (Vermont), and Denison University (Ohio). My most valuable educational experience was The Homestead at Denison University.
This blog, updated 2-4 times per month, contains some of my comics and drawings, as well as commentaries and reflections on comics, books, films, science fiction, politics, environmental issues, sustainability, outdoor life, wildlife, and anything else that I feel inspired to draw or write about. Happy Earth Day to you also. I think one of my favorite topic appropriate quotes is: Live simply so that others may simply live.
